The Swedish Building Workers Union – Byggnads placed the Latvian company Laval Un Partneri under a boycott. The reason was the company’s refusal to sign a Swedish collective agreement. According to Swedish law, the trade unions have the right to take industrial action against companies which refuse to conclude a collective agreement.
