The Special Negotiating Body met 11 and 12 January. It discussed a number of proposals made by management regarding the scope, representation (nr of seats on the EWC) and rights and powers of the future of the EWC. Progress was made regarding national mechanisms for information and consultation. The next meeting is foreseen for mid-April.
It is believed this is the largest SNB ever certainly regarding languages translated. 16 languages were translated for 22 delegated from 18 countries.
