Yesterday morning, September 21st, the CGIL, Cisl, Uil and Confindustria, the Industry employers' organization, signed the agreement of June 28th on union representativeness and the scope of collective agreements. In addition to this, they signed an understanding on the application of this agreement. The aim is to limit the impact of Article 8 of the government's austerity program which provides that local agreements can derogate from laws and national collective agreements. (Ref. 110563)
