The Fiom-CGIL's National Assembly approved, last week, its claim platform for the renewal of the 2008 national collective agreement in the metal industry. The metalworkers' federation notably proposes reviewing the rules governing the validation of agreements in order to put an end to the practice of separate agreements. It also suggests establishing, at company level, a "preventive" information and bargaining procedure called "negotiated participation." The workers will be consulted on this between October 26 and October 28. (Ref. 110570)
