The UNI European trade union federation and the French retailing group amended the anticipation agreement creating the European Information and Consultation Committee (Comité d'information et de concertation européen, CICE). Signed on October 19th by Carrefour management and the union organization, the amendment adjusts the text to the new requirements of the 2009 EWC Directive. It opens a right to information/consultation and gives more weight to the steering committee. (Ref. 110670)
