To protect employees from stress risks due to the use of BlackBerries at all times, the works council and the management of the German auto group Volkswagen signed, at the end of December, an unheard-of company agreement. From now on, about 1,100 employees whose wages are defined by VW's 'company' collective agreement will no longer receive emails on their work BlackBerry outside of working time.
