Denmark, which took up the Presidency of the EU on January 1 for the first 2012 quarter, presented its program on Friday, January 6. Calling for a (financially) responsible, dynamic, green and safe Europe, this northern Presidency is listing the posting of workers and electromagnetic fields as its priority fields directly affecting labor. For the other legislative proposals on the table of the Council of Ministers (intra-group transfers, seasonal workers, maternity leave), some have more chances of succeeding than others.
