On January 25, at the headquarters of the Social and Economic Council, the general secretaries of the Workers' Commissions and UGT union, Ignacio Fernandez Toxo and Candido Mendez, and the leader of the CEOE and Ceyme employers' organizations, Juan Rosell and Jesus Terciado, signed the second agreement for employment and collective bargaining 2012, 2013 and 2014. The agreement signed by the union and employers' representatives, which is going to serve as a collective bargaining framework for the next three years, contains wage moderation criteria and the commitment to add to sectoral or territorial collective agreements tools making internal flexibility easier for businesses. The agreement aims to facilitate functional mobility and working time arrangements and list conditions to 'derogate' from the collective agreement in case of economic difficulties. (Ref. 120059)
