The European trade union federations of metalworkers (EMF), chemical workers (EMCEF) and textile workers (ETUF:TCL) held their first joint executive committee this Tuesday. This meeting was the start of the new European federation for industry and manufacturing workers, which will be official on May 16 after the founding congress. The day before, each federation held an executive committee to validate the key points unanimously approved on Tuesday during the joint committee: new statuses, a political program and the composition of decision-making bodies.
