The European Federation of Food, Agriculture and Tourism Trade Unions (EFFAT) for unions and FoodDrinkEurope for employers created, on January 23, a European social dialogue committee in the food and drink industry. During their first plenary meeting, the social partners approved a joint Work Program, which will first aim to do a survey on skills and the sector's needs in 10-15 years. (Ref. 120089)
