European auto carmakers and employees currently have their eyes riveted on Germany where almost all carmakers made fabulous profits in 2011. Except for Audi, which negotiated a clear rule for employee profit-sharing, carmakers individually negotiated bonuses reflecting today's prosperity with unions and WCs. The record is precisely held by Audi which recently announced that it would give its permanent employees a 8,251 euro extraordinary bonus. These bonuses shouldn't hide the fact that neither temporary workers in the sector nor the employees working for subcontracting firms are enjoying this royal regime. (Ref. 120146)
