Last week, the Nidil-CGIL, Felsa-Cisl and Uiltemp-Uil unions accused Manpower of "selling workers off." Like other temporary work agencies, Manpower signed an agreement with the technical agency of the Ministry of Labor, Italia Lavoro, to be able to derogate from the principle of equal treatment for the integration of underprivileged workers. However, unions want these agreements abolished as they are "severely dangerous" and undermining equal treatment which used to characterize temporary work in Italy. (Ref. 120173)
