The French Supreme Court created a wind of panic among businesses set up at the Basel-Mulhouse airport by deciding, in a decree rendered on September 29, 2010, that the labor contract of employees working in a company operating in the Basel-Mulhouse airport came under French law, even though their labor contract applied Swiss labor law. In order to legally secure labor relations, France, Switzerland and the Basel-Mulhouse EuroAirport signed, on March 22, an agreement claiming a pragmatic approach. (Ref. 120195)
