About 60 union representatives from countries where Fiat is present (Italy, US, Canada, Brazil, Spain, France, Czech Republic, Serbia, Poland and Turkey) debated for two days on June 6-7 on the group's current situation in Europe and in the United States. Several topics were mentioned such as investments and production, working conditions, notably as regards the introduction of the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) system, the future of employment, and collective bargaining. This is the second meeting for the international union network, organized by the International Metalworkers' Federation (IMF). (Ref. 120392)
