On June 20, the EWC and management of Rheinmetall AG signed a European framework agreement on the management of health. The representatives of the European employees of the group, divided into two different entities (auto equipment - KSPG and Land armament - Rheinmetall Defense), mostly wanted to unify and develop the internal structure for managing health issues within the group. The negotiation was orchestrated by IndustriAll Europe, the new federation of European manufacturing unions, and its representatives at the EWC, Joachim Stöber, who is also the former vice-president of the company's board for the IG-Metall. He is telling Planet Labor about the background behind the negotiations of this framework agreement. (Ref. 120699)
