After signing, on Friday, November 30, a tentative agreement on the social chapter, the debate on the industrial plan for the cold phase of the site in Liege was opened. The tripartite meeting gathering the government of Wallonia, the trade unions and the Liege/Luxembourg management of the steel group took place in the afternoon on December 4 in Namur. After two hours, the participants announced solid investment promises, mostly from Wallonia. (Ref. 120725)
