On December 6, the French rail company and the special negotiating body signed an agreement setting up a European Works Council. The EWC will be competent for all transnational matters affecting SNCF Group. The European structures of Geodis (transportation and logistics subsidiary) and Keolis (public passenger transport) were maintained so the transnational matters affecting these two groups will not be managed by SNCF's EWC.
