3M Deutschland is innovating, creating a long-term time savings account which can also be used to access part-time early retirement earlier, which was unheard of in the chemical industry. Thus, 3M staff may decide to start working less when they turn 63 and those who have paid enough contributions will be able to fully retire at 65. Following certain conditions, 3M Deutschland, name "Best Employer in Germany" in 2010 and 2011 in its category, promised to pay for an entire year. (Ref. 120761)
