To find a solution to the company's financial difficulties and to the threat of 350 job cuts, Green Cargo and the SEKO (services and communication), ST (civil service) and Trafik och Järnväg/SACO (postgraduates in road and rail transport) unions have been quite practical. On January 3, they signed an agreement on "economic working time" (avtal om konjunkturanpassad arbetstid) which provides for working time and pay cuts. In exchange, all jobs will be maintained.
