On January 16, Deutsche Bahn presented the result of a new survey in the company, carried out among its 330,000 employees in 44 countries and 33 languages. With 61.4% of employees responding, the management wants it to become a permanent HR tool to develop the company's culture and thinks that the first barrier has been crossed. Besides, the company points to the globally positive view employees have of their employer and to the high level of identification with their job. However, employees often complain that their point of view isn't taken into consideration enough. For its part, EVG, the German rail union, points out that "only" 47% of employees are happy to go to work and draws attention to the fact that hard work issues aren't sufficiently taken into account. DB announced that the survey would be carried out every other year. (Ref. 130050)
