Over 250 representatives took part, in Brussels on January 23-24, in the conference organized by IndustriAll European Trade Union on the auto industry. Gathered to talk about the challenges workers and employers in the sector are going to have to face, in a crisis situation and "in the context of the neoliberal agenda" of the European Union, the participants also talked about union strategies to adopt, notably at company level. The Declaration handed out after the conference calls on employers, administrations and the EU to join IndustriAll to "define common and coordinated policies on the European level to ensure a sustainable future for the European Automotive industry."
