Last February 6, the Luxemburg government passed a bill to reform social dialogue inside businesses. This streamlines representative bodies by removing the joint committee (comité mixte), the co-decision powers of which are transferred to the staff delegation (délégation du personnel), which becomes the primary interlocutor with management. The staff delegation, with whom the employer is encouraged to develop constructive relations, shall benefit from enhanced means and powers under this reform. (Ref. 130102)
