The National Institute of Statistics (Istat) recently published its four-year survey on the wage structure (synchronized at European level). It points out that average gross hourly remuneration was EUR 16.2 in 2010. Thus, Italy ranks 12th in the EU27, 14% below Germany but 26% above Spain. (Ref. 130152)
