On 19 July the ITF (transport workers), UNI (services) and DP-DHL agreed to a protocol, which commits them to continued dialogue on employment and industrial relations. “The parties will meet four times a year and attempt to resolve issues in a mutually acceptable manner to avoid future problems”, explained the unions’ joint press statement. The protocol is the outcome of action by the German National Contact Point (NCP) for the application of the OECD Multinational Guidelines. In 2013 the German NCP participated in the resolution of differences in several countries and handled the case when it was submitted a year earlier.
