The negotiations to set up a European Works Council for the new LafargeHolcim group, and to abolish the existing EWCs in the two premerger entities has been completed. The management of LafargeHolcim, who refused to allow the agreement to be placed under the French law (nevertheless the law of the second seat of the group and the country in which it has the most employees) obtained that the new agreement Is subject to Belgian law. The signature of the agreement will take place on 27 March.
