Further to weeks of warning strikes at Coca-Cola, which continued for several weeks at 36 sites in Germany the NGG bargaining commission reached a collective agreement in challenging negotiations. Almost 8000 workers are now entitled, inter alia, to increased remuneration and training allowance by 2.2% retroactive since 1 January 2017, and NGG members will benefit from 100 Euro more from 2018. Furthermore it was also agreed to start negotiations for a nationwide uniform remuneration framework agreement. NGG considers this as a successful development. Thanks once more to EFFAT affiliates who showed support and solidarity in the process, correctly applying EFFAT and coca cola code of conduct.
