During the summer, the Italian subsidiary at French pharmaceutical group Sanofi signed an agreement with trade unions on work hours and services for employees and their families working in Milan, Modena, and Rome, as well as for the medical visitors, affecting 1,000 workers out of a total of 2,500 in Italy. A first for Italy in so far as senior level employees will only have to sign in once a day and other employees just twice. With this agreement Sanofi has stopped monitoring work hours for a large segment of the workforce.
