On 5 July the European works council of the American IT group Oracle, established in Europe under British legislation, lodged a complaint with the Central Arbitration Committee (CAC) against company management for failing to respect its right to information and consultation. The CAC may therefore issue a decision unless the parties arrive at a compromise.
