The European Works Council of the steel group ArcelorMittal met in plenary session on 13 and 14 December, notably on topics related to employment, health and safety at work, the group's strategy including the dossier on the takeover of the Italian steel plant Ilva. The group's management, represented by Aditya Mittal, CEO of ArcelorMittal Europe, spoke at the plenary meeting for the first time in a decade, says a member of the EWC.
