Management and unions have agreed on job stability guarantees which will give a fresh boost to the Ford car production facility at Almussafes near Valencia. Both management and unions have signed a new company agreement for the Almussafes Ford production facility near Valencia (Spain). Negotiations had started the day after a €750 million investment plan had been announced to modernize the production facility’s infrastructure on 17 November 2017. These talks came to a close on 31 January 2018 with 7,667 employees at the facility being consulted and approving (51.2%) the ‘Horizon 2020s’ plan.
