Amazon is facing its first ever work stoppage action in Spain; a 48-hour strike set for 21 and 22 March and coming at a time of negotiations for the collective agreement that expired in December 2016 and that has been subsequently extended. Unions argue that Amazon is seeking to adhere to the region's logistics sector collective agreement, the details of which are less generous than the previous company agreement (especially as regards over time pay).
