A negotiation is currently under way within the Total group, aimed at reaching an agreement on worker participation, on the occasion of the oil group’s adoption of European company status (see FCE-CFDT press release). A special negotiating group is meeting for this purpose until 15 April. A discussion is also under way, with a view to ensuring specific representation for its Hutchinson subsidiary (20,700 employees in the EU).
