On 15 September, the European Federation of Public Service Unions (EPSU) launched a plan to set up a European trade-union network in two multinational companies operating in the healthcare sector: the Norwegian group Norlandia (5,750 employees) and the French group Colisée (16,000 employees), which specialises in support and care services for the elderly. The aim is to set up a trade-union network, and then embark on negotiations with a view to creating a EWC.
